Proudly based in Calgary, Alberta, The Travelling Teacups story began in 2017 as an elegant afternoon tea party catering company by two friends, Linda and Karen, looking to fill their early retirement with purpose and fun.

In January 2025 the reigns were past to Lacey, who began as a client and then stepped in to help Linda after the unexpected loss of Karen.

The tie that binds is their love of tea and creating unforgettable experiences for all their clients through celebrations of joy, grief and the everyday!

From our vintage china, tea party sweets, and savoury treats to locally blended loose-leaf tea and even fascinators — we bring it all to you. 

 We aim to ease your role as host and make you look good. Whether it's catering on its own, tea party tableware rentals or an entire package, we work with our hosts to make their vision a reality.

The Travelling Teacups serve all sorts of special occasions and intimate celebrations, including baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, play openings, authors' events, retirements, friend gatherings and celebrations of life.

While in-home gatherings are our specialty, we have recently entered into the corporate realm, helping companies take their employee and client appreciation events to the next level.

We love to collaborate with other small businesses, supporting local YYC companies whenever we can.
